Know more about the Timestamp in ZapSign!

The Timestamp is a digital seal that guarantees the exact date and time when a document was created or digitally signed. It adds an extra layer of security and verification, serving as an official proof of when the signature occurred and, thus, ensuring the legal validity of the process.

Who can issue the Timestamp?

The issuance of the Timestamp is carried out by a Timestamp Authority (ACT), a responsible and certified entity in accordance with the ICP-Brasil standards. These authorities use audited and synchronized servers to ensure that the date and time marking is accurate and secure.

Why is the Timestamp important?

Although the digital signature guarantees the authenticity of the document, it does not verify the exact moment it was signed. The Timestamp solves this gap by adding an official and protected mark, which is essential, especially in situations where the signing date needs to be legally proven.

How to acquire the Timestamp?

The Timestamp is available exclusively for custom plans. When you sign up for one of these plans, the functionality will be activated in your account. This way, all documents signed after activation will automatically receive the Timestamp, ensuring greater security and reliability for your processes.
