Canceling a document
When we sign a document, whether it's physical or electronic, we are formalizing an agreement between the parties. Therefore, it's important to be attentive and not sign anything you don't agree with.
Considering that our platform only acts as the intermediary between the signers, ZapSign does not have legal authority to cancel, alter, or nullify a signed document. It is necessary for the signer to contact the parties with whom they made the commitment to formally withdraw their agreement.
Deleting the Document
Since effective cancellation of the contract is not possible, a temporary measure can be to delete it to prevent the signer from accessing or signing it further:
In your Sent Documents section, select the files you wish to delete and click on the trash can icon. You can also enter a specific document and do the same, as shown in the example below:
When entering the signing link of a deleted document, a screen like this will be displayed to the signer:
